Late Bloomer by Mazey Eddings

3.0

the cover? beautiful. the premise? promising! the representation? amazing. the setting? a flower farm! love! but overall? not my fave. 😔

the characters, while bringing neurodivergence and autism to the forefront, still felt one dimensional to me, and i didn’t buy their chemistry or connection at all. it didn’t have the build up and robustness i wanted, and it felt overly cheesy in ways that i didn’t love.

i wish this had been better!!! but it was still cutesy and i liked it, more for the bones and the hope i had (and the endorsement of two of my fave bookstore’s team members!)
