This is book 3 in Lena Hendrix’s Redemption Ranch series but can be read as a standalone!

The Rebel is about Hollywood star Effie, who escapes to a small town from her childhood when she finds herself plastered all over the tabloids. Effie finds herself at Redemption Ranch, hoping not only to figure out who she is but to also get some long lingering questions she’s had ever since she was a child. At Redemption Ranch Effie meets Josh, the rebel cowboy. Will Effie find the answers she’s been searching for?

The mouth on that man… wow. This book wasn’t superrr spicy, but the dirty talk was on point.

This was a new take on second chance romance for me and I loved it. Second chance can be hit or miss sometimes because of the circumstances of the end of the initial love/relationship. However, the fact that this was a second chance without the FMC/MMC realizing it was interesting to me and I really enjoyed it.

This book has:
- Small town romance
- Second chance
- Forced proximity
- Dirty talk
- Fake identity
- Opposites attract
- Hollywood star
- 🔥 cowboy
- Dual POVs

I received this as ARC and this is my honest opinion.
