The Honey Witch by Sydney J. Shields

This book was a tough one to rate because it was such a mixed bag. I mostly found this entertaining. I liked all the characters, as well as the different relationships between siblings, friends, parents and children, grandparents and their granddaughter. I was actually invested in the romance between the main characters and the forbidden love storyline worked for me. Overall, the book does a good job of depicting compelling relationships.

Unfortunately, it took me a while to get used to the writing style, which never quite clicked with me. The pacing was inconsistent, large portions dragged while the ending felt rushed. Additionally, there were holes in world-building and the explanation of the curse.
