Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
5.0
This book! So many emotions!
I love Sirius! Harry needs someone like him in his life. And not because I think he is perfect or an actual good parental figure (I actually think he kind of sucks in that aspect, up where would he have learned it? In askaban?) but as someone that really completely cares about Harry. and that boy clearly needs that!
And hermione? KICK-ASS! She is just so fantastic in this book. And I just love how she is an actual friend, because she believes Harry no matter what that means to her. And no matter how often she gets pushed aside. And how she solved that reporter problem? I just love that girl. She is fantastic!
And I hated Ron. No surprise there. He is just stupid. I mean I love his family. I love the rest of the wesleys. They are fanstic. Molly , and Fred and George and Arthur? So great! Bill? Such a fanstic character! But Rona. Yuck! That is just... The boy is just.., he is stupid and childish and hateful and self absorbed and just... He deserves a good beating. And the head. Or something.
I also kind of hate/love how I am always surprised when Rowling kills one of the characters. I mean I know it is coming! I read the book enough times that I know exactly what is comings, still every time I am surprised as if the book would have rewritten itself. But she just writes it so great, that it fits perfectly in the story (sadly! Nobody should be that good at killing great characters at the perfect timing!!!!!!) and make it epic and dramatic but not a completely overtaking moment. That woman is just a writing genius!
I always find the first 100 pages of so of this book rather hard to get through, since it is a rather long introduction but it does make sense with the resto of the book and I do kind of enjoy the moments the three have during the sport stuff.
I also love that we are introduced to those two different kind of magical schools, that I just loved to learn about because that just make the entire wizard world more real to me. And who doesn't love krum for noticing hermione?
I aloud love the ending and how Harry is just so perfect and wise and nice and helping out Fred and George. Because he is so right, we all could use some laughsz, especially after reading the rest of the potter books!
Once again, fantastic book, wonderfully magical writing, great story! I just..... Loved or this book and while reading it! It's just so wonduferul that I can't do anything but love it! So lots and lots of love! And some ugly crying, but mostly love!!!!!!
