When I started reading this I did think “oh no, is it just gonna be chapter after chapter of complaints” and... well, it was, but it was very entertaining. I think the biggest takeaway for me was that everybody is still learning things about themselves and other people, and that everyone doesn’t really have a clue what they’re doing. And so while it wasn’t my usual book, or full of clever twists and turns, it felt very life affirming - which I think I needed!
