I really enjoyed this one! I love the gothic vibes of it and the dark academia school and being set in regency really helped the gothic setting. I loved Katrina and I think we really saw her start out as a girl but became a women by the end of it. I loved crane and his POV was probably my favourite of it. I loved the mystery element of this as well it fit with everything great. I loved the chemistry between crane and Katrina as well and thought they fit well together. I loved when Brom joined the story as well and the tie he has to both Katrina and Crane. I am looking forward to reading the second in this duet and seeing how the mystery turns out and the relationship between all 3 of them.
