Oh I LOVED this! I'm a huge fan of the Dead Zoo in Dublin, so I was delighted to get a copy of Peter Donnelly's book for Christmas.
Children's books can be really hit or miss, like anything aimed at children they can be really lacklustre. However, when you get a simple story with so much care put into it, it's really appreciated.

The illustrations and setting are what really make this book so great. I could see small children really loving it and I know I'll be noticing new details in the exhibits every time I open it.
I also love to see an increased awareness of the Natural History Museum so I hope this book does well.
