Book Lovers by Emily Henry
5.0
Talk about a book that ruins you in the absolutely BEST way. My heart fluttered, bursted with laughter, crumbled with ache, and found stillness with peace. Emily just writes so innately, so intube with the human heart that it’s encapsulating. Honestly, I’ve never read a book that makes me laugh aloud louder than this one and cry just as loudly the next.
Nora and Charlie are EPIC, but I felt the deep pull of Nora and Libby the most. Connected by blood, yet bonded through traumatic experience and deep love for each other. To disrupt a flow of life that has become so natural as breathing is almost unheard of, but it’s quite a riveting story when told with all the stages of grief, uncertainty, joy, and moments that are held on to not just by the readers but also the characters.
A truly, BEAUTIFUL book, that I may just start reading again… because as Nora would say, I’m just not ready for it to be over.
