All I Want for Christmas is Revenge by K.A. Merikan
5.0
Well, I really liked this one! It was very dark, but it had a lightness to it, too, that made the graphic dark parts feel like the satisfying revenge they were. There was a lot of back and forth with Saint and Rowan on whether or not their relationship was genuine; neither of them could tell if the other was being serious or just telling them what they wanted to hear, so it did cause problems for them in the form of the dreaded miscommunication trope. On top of that, Rowan was struggling a lot with the fact that he didn't think he should like Saint or the things Saint did with him, but he at least understood that just because he thought he shouldn't be okay with it didn't mean he wanted to stop. Even when he didn't feel worthy of Saint's affections, he still craved them, and eventually admitted that he wouldn't want to give Saint up. This story was definitely twisted, but I really enjoyed the plot progression, and I liked both characters a lot, too. I'm definitely going to have to read the next book in this series.
