This was such a wonderfully written historical fantasy queer book, and a very easy and fast read (which I currently appreciate). The relationship between the two women was really well developed and I truly wanted them to live together (forever?). The mystery portion really kept me engaged, and I was really satisfied with the conclusion. Also, as someone who was raised Catholic I really enjoyed all of the Catholic elements of the magic and the story!
