Aww, man, this was so f-ing sweet it made me melt.
For personal reasons, I have not read the Elite 8 series, so this was my first introduction to Brad. Now, he's the type of oblivious (kind of a himbo) sunshiney gym-bro character that could very easily be annoying, BUT he wasn't. He was actually super endearing and I think I fell just as hard for him as Joey did. I just want to give him all the high fives and cuddles, seriously. Joey was also so great and so perfect for Brad. The way he just simply accepted Brad and loved him for exactly who he is? Beautiful. I really loved these two.
As expected with Emmy Sanders, the writing was also amazing, but also very very funny. I laughed a lot with this one. And of course the spicy scenes were fantastic because Emmy writes some of the best spice out there.
I really don't have much more to say about this one, and honestly, I'd rather have you all go read it and see for yourself how beautiful and funny this story is. So, check it out and see if you can resist falling a little bit in love with Brad and Joey. (You can't, honestly.)
