things i really enjoyed:

❥ ┊the art.
⠀⠀⠀⠀the art in this was so cute! all of the dresses were absolutely stunning and so creative! the color palette was an excellent choice, too. i am so happy i read this electronically so i could zoom in on the art because it's THAT good.

❥ ┊the characters.
⠀⠀⠀⠀since this was a short graphic novel, it's not like there was all that much character development going on. the prince was adorable. i loved how... free he was. the father surprised me in the best way possible. they're both so pure and i am so happy they have each other. frances was pretty relatable. i could see myself doing exactly what she did in every situation.

❥ ┊the plot.
⠀⠀⠀⠀i didn't know that much going into this and since i read it in one 30 minute sitting i didn't really predict anything. i could see how part of the ending may be predictable? but not really. i loved every moment of this plot and how it was executed.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀overall, this was pretty amazing. i loved this so much! i borrowed this from my library and i might even go out and buy it. the whole story is so pure and i wish more people reacted to situations as the father did. everything was incredible. the art, the characters, the concept, you name it! for such a sweet and short read, there is honestly nothing to complain about.
