Lucky Shot was such a sweet read; lighthearted, emotional, and full of hope, it made me feel a lot of warm fuzzies as both MMCs found each other whilst also finding themselves along the way. I really appreciated how beautifully Reitan represented not only the long distance relationship that develops between the main characters, but also the incredible power of long distance/online friendships. There was one secondary story arc that felt out of place within the story and I did get a little lost with who was who at times due to the sheer number of characters in the first half, but it was a treat to see and hear about MCs from the previous novels, especially Ethan, Jakub, and Creed, the MCs from Starting Line (For Puck’s Sake 2). Overall, a really lovely story and definitely a good pick if you’re in need of some warm fuzzies.
