The only reason this book got 3 stars instead of 2 is because I enjoyed the idea and the story. The book is so badly written its hard to get through. It's a shame because it could be so great if it was written better. The characters are poorly developed, the plot is rushed and the basic skill in writing is generally lacking (An example that sticks out in my mind is the main character referring to somebody having the same mother rather than just saying brother, that one hurt my brain). I do plan to eventually read the others in the trilogy as I want to see what happens but it will be painful
