I recently tried to read Conversations with Friends and DNF:ed it after a few chapters, but I wanted to give Sally Rooney another chance which is why I decided to jump on the Intermezzo train while it is new and being talked about but I just… didn’t really enjoy it. I listened to a few chapters (Swedish audio book read by Christoffer Svensson) and that was slightly easier to follow but ultimately I’m afraid I just don’t like Sally Rooney’s writing style.

I think the end of this book was tied up pretty nicely but it didn’t justify how much I just didn’t care about anything throughout the entire read. It’s just fine, I guess.
