The first book in the Skystone Chronicles didn’t disappoint. A traditional style for high fantasy with a super fast plot, hilarious banter, crazy side quests, and awkward young adult infatuations.
There were so many instances in listening to this audiobook that I was either on the edge of my seat worried about the characters or laughing hysterically at the crazy antics the main characters get into.
Asher may not be loved by all but he definitely grows on you as a reader as the plot continues. He is straight up reckless but thankfully his best friend is very calculated and I’m pretty sure without Kai, Asher would not have survived book 1.
The found family and side quests these misfits get put on keep the plot rolling without dragging out the story.
I’m very exited to read or listen to book 2 in the near future because after the revealed identity at the end of the book, I NEED to know more!
