A good take on issues in the lgbt community. From a strikingly different point of view. Good, Strong lead character and likable side characters. Nice to see while the main character had his view we saw others views from other people, challenging his ideas and questioning them. For example, with the newspaper incident "Why did they put GAY on the front of the paper when he was in a soccer game?" Yet, he reflects back moments later questioning when the counselor said, "Only do it when it relevant" he then thinks to himself but when is it. I like how stereotypes were not so enforced in the story, a nice take. I recommend it to straight and non straight people as well.
