And what'd you expect from Sally Rooney? Of course, she's very well-known for tapping societal discussions people rarely talk about. And here, she did it with grace.

The characters have contrasting personalities, political, and religious beliefs. As you progress and get lost in the chaotic mess of their relationships, you'd witness how friction and love can co-exist.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if you found pieces of yourself in each of them. It's devastatingly beautiful to relate to Eileen, to identify with Alice, to sympathize with Simon, and to connect with Felix all at the same time.

I swear, this book wrecked me! I'm now best friends with the four of them for life.
