The highs of this book were very high, while the lows were extremely low. I would've rated this a 4.5, but I wish some pages were shaved off due to those lows.

At the same time, I also never wanted this book to end when those highs hit, especially reaching the climax. This was one of the most interesting and wildest dark academia books I've read in so long. Mixed with vampires and African mythology/history. I can't wait for the second part.
