I think I liked this more than Legends & Lattes. Viv was already established as a character, but different enough in this earlier iteration to make it interesting. And I really loved Fern and Gallina and Satchel as characters. I wasn't a huge fan of the romance with Maylee. I get what the point was, but she wasn't three-dimensional enough for me to enjoy that. Still, the plot with Varine (and the solution to that) was more than enough to make up for that. And I do love a good renovation.
