I'm re-reading the When the War Began series by listening to the audio books.

The third novel, which in Australia is called "The Third Day, The Frost" (which is probably my favourite title of all the books in this series) is the most action-heavy and emotionally draining so far - ships are blown up, there's capture and interrogation, and a truly devastating death.
