Having just watched the movie Just Mercy, I was struck at the similarities between the stories. It strikes me that 2 completely separate individuals (in real life) have dedicated their life to freeing falsely convicted men on Death Row, many of them put there solely by their race. If you only read two John Grisham books, this pairs well with "A Time to Kill," which is still my favorite of his novels.
