“She was tougher, but shattered people were attracted to other broken things, and I was being pulled to her in a way that left me gasping.”

Oh Saint and Tori have my heart!  This was my first book by Tabatha Vargo and I am blown away.  It had so much raw emotion and perfectly captured Saint and Tori’s story.  My heart ached for what they went through as children.

Tori and Saint had known each other when they were children, only to be pulled away from each other due to horrendous circumstances.  Saint was out on the streets and Tori, in and out of foster care.  Their paths crossed again years later.  Saint harbored such guilt when it came to Tori and how his choices affected her life.  Tori hated Saint for his role in how her life had turned out.  Once the whole truth comes out, the two of them start healing each other.  One terrible twist near the end had me wondering…will their love be able to survive?

This book was beautifully written.  Alllll the stars.

Looking forward to Joker’s story.
