Okay, so obviously Fae's writing is gorgeous and her stories and characters are definitely good! Except... there's always something about them that... lacks something for me. Something that prevents me from adoring these books fully. Which makes me sad. Because I did like this! Luca stole my heart right from the beginning. He's a great character! And Prudence grew on me, but... not fully? I don't know. I just didn't really connect to him in any way. I liked him fine, but... I was also a bit indifferent about him, which made the whole book and the ending sort of... Okay?

I'll probably continue this series at some point, because it's not like these books are bad? This is just a me thing, nothing against the book, obviously. So yeah. I'll continue this series... at some point.
