This book is flying tragically under the radar! While I found this first book interesting, the second book was incredible. The plot was woven together SO WELL and the twists were executed immaculately. It’s awesome when a plot twist surprises you but yet makes total sense because the author laid just enough subtle groundwork for it to work. The characters in this series are brilliantly complex. The hero’s make mistakes, the “bad guys” have multiple shades of gray, and we’re left at a cliff hanger that makes me immediately want to pick up the final book!
