The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times by Michelle Obama

While this book includes plenty of personal anecdotes, I preferred the more autobiographical nature of "Becoming."
The idea that resonated most with me was that it's always nice to feel someone's genuinely delighted to see you. She wrote about kids' perception that their parents always greet them with a critical eye, noticing things that are wrong (like they haven't brushed their hair), but it's empowering if parents greet their kids as if they're happy to see them above all else. It's kind of a small idea but something easy to try out.
