I simply cannot finish this book. I love the premise/plot, but the execution of this book started off so strong and has quickly deteriorated to the point of no return. The fact that I made it halfway through the book and I’m quitting now is not great because usually if I’m halfway through I’ll just finish it. But this book is about to be returned in two days and I frankly have zero energy to keep reading and zero energy to finish it before I need to return it. I’m not gonna pretend I’m a prude but this book was just weird smut and I say weird because I can’t get over the fact that they’re literally 20 and having the kinkiest sex ever, and it’s just not something I was in the headspace to read. The cover was giving me cute romcom, but the content is giving Fifty Shades of Grey fanfiction that takes place in a college. I really wanted to like this book. I really wanted to finish this book, but I simply cannot.
