I DNF-ed this book not because it wasn’t good but I really don’t think this was a story that I truly could enjoy. I received this book thinking it would’ve been a fun read, middle grade sci-fi, and it quickly became a little hard to follow and continue reading. I think it has potential to be really good and I don’t want to say negative things about it other than, this story is just not the right genre for me like I was hoping. There was a bit of fluff info that may not have been needed and the beginning kind of dragged on a bit which may be the reason it just didn’t grab my attention. I only got 12% in and I just couldn’t finish it. I do hope it gets more reads and more reviews by those who enjoy this genre more!
