I actually really love this. Where I find that most mermaid stories, in general, have the main character be the one to fall in love with a human, I like that that role has been given to her friend and that she herself isn't even fond of humans at all. I love her unique character design and strong personality, and I'm excited to see where the story goes in the next volume.
