Linda Castillo is a very talented author and I love this series. I enjoy the main characters and the fact that they are flawed and haunted by personal demons. It makes them more relatable. One would expect it to be difficult to keep the series fresh and engaging given the setting in a community most would consider safe, but the stories told never become redundant and touch on sensitive topics that anyone can face. I would definitely recommend this book and series to those who enjoy thrillers and mysteries.
