There are many adjectives that I can use to describe this novel: powerful, impactful, emotional ... but it won't describe it well enough. Angie Thomas tells the story of Starr growing up in the 'hood and going to a prep school through a very difficult time in her life. I barely put it down and finished it in a day. People need to read this book.
