I'm not really sure what the point of this was? It's a sort of Feminism 101, with tie ins to the Greeks and Romans, which is Beard's area, but for me didn't really add anything new to the conversation, or offer much in the way of resolutions. However, it got me listening to audiobooks again, and Beard has a nice reading voice.
