Read this. It's a middle grade mystery novel about a skeleton being found under a playground being redone. Protagonists proceed to figure out who the real killer is and clear an innocent suspect in the process.
Pretty formulaic stuff.
It was meh.
There were some really cringey aspects to it, like the fact that every southern slang turn of phrase you've ever heard was probably included.
Also, 2 of the protagonists were named "Liberty" and "Justice".
Just oof.
