I'm happy I read 'Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop' first, since it definitely resonated with me more. If I had read this novel first, I imagine I would not have given similar, translated stories a chance. There's nothing wrong with the story. I'm not even sure if it's the story or the translation that bothered me. 'Bother' is an incorrect word as well... It just didn't really speak to me like the other book did.
Still in love with the book cover and the idea of ever running a bookshop though.
