look I understand that I'm a lit major and all that, and I should be reading the classics and stuff in the literary canon HOWEVER when they're full of rich people bullshit (even for the time) I am not going to enjoy it. now add on the absolute insane language used and way that it's written, and you've got something that I will not touch as long as my Amazon account is alive and kicking.
I'm sure Jane Austen's other stuff is okay (I've read some of Emma and hated it less I think) but eh.
