I'm so glad I took a chance on the Maple Hills series. I was a little disappointed when the second book wasn't Russ, but after having finished Wildfire, I'm so glad to have learned more about Russ and Aurora!
I liked the build up and how they were both determined to grow and we're able to lean on each other. Even better, Aurora hates the miscommunication trope and so do I! The characters actually had conversations to avoid any misinterpretations and there was no third act break up! Thank you, Hannah Grace!
I also really like the time jumping in the epilogues. They really toe up the books well and.give you a sneak peak into not only how the couple is doing, but their friends as well. Now I can't wait for Russ' book!
