Pride and Prejudice by Gemma Barder
5.0
Firstly I would like to thank the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with an advanced reader copy.
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that I will always enjoy a "Pride and Prejudice" adaptation. Oh let's be honest, any Jane Austen adaptation.
And this adaptation does not shine away from that truth. It is very comprehensible, simple, and enjoyable for, I would guess, kids from age 6+.
It manages to maintain that charm that all Jane Austen's books have. And if in the future, I have any children of my own, I will most definitely read this adaptation, you know, to get them into the Jane Austen fan club.
