I liked the direction this book went, but I think the pacing was overall too slow for me, and I was a bit disappointed at the lack of surprise I felt when the reveal finally happened. There were a few too many characters, in my mind, and it made the audiobook hard to follow at times.
Overall, I'm a bit underwhelmed by this book, but I did enjoy it, and it definitely made me emotional at times.
I could have used a lot more Marcellus, as his short chapters were the highlight of the book for me.
