Emily Henry and Kennedy Ryan are the only two authors that make me believe in second chance romance.
This was a beautiful story of not only romantic love but platonic love as well.
I adored the friendship group so much. Wyn my poor baby, I just want to hug him.
Now I was with Ms Henry up until the end. I know Harriet is a people pleaser and something needed to give, in order to show her growth. HOWEVER, EYE did not like it and EYE do not support it.
I think the miscommunication trope was done quite well. I mean we wouldn’t have had a book without it. And one would expect people in their 30s to have better communication skills but alas.
At my big age of 26 (almost 27) I still struggle with (mis)communication… so I gave Harriet and Wyn so much grace because at their core they still cared very much for each other.
The book was a solid 4.5 stars up until Harriet’s decision and I simply cannot support that so 4 stars it is.
