reread June 2024: this book is basically perfect. It brought me to tears again & I just love it so much! Very glad I re-read it. It’s incredibly charming and so hard to put down once you get started.
Original Review:
Ahhhhhh!!! I’m just running around screaming inside my mind. I loved this so. much. This is exactly my kind of book. I’m so happy I discovered this!! Atwater did a wonderful job blending regency with the fantasy elements. It was charming, funny, and despite its title, full of soul. Dora was a fun protagonist & her love story made me swoon. Some of the scenes were made of dreams. And I was really satisfied with how all the plot points came together at the end.
Must read!
