This is an incredible play. It's very short and packs a huge punch. Fugard handles racial issues with precision and sharp tact. "Master Harold"...And the Boys goes from 0 to 100 very quickly in the last few scenes, but the detail and connections woven from the start that finally come together in the climax makes the slow start worth it. This story is about a boy and his father. It's about racism. It's about equality. It's about love.
