I’m so happy to be back in the midrealms, I absolutely LOVED Wren and Torj. Wrens healing and inner hurt felt so real and relatable, my heart genuinely hurt for her. Her healing journey I think a lot of people will relate to. And Torj, if you love the trope “he fell first” then please read this! Because his POVs were top tier. The romance was swoon worthy and the pining was done so well. Of course we get to see our OG band of misfits, Kipp and Cal brought so much humor and light heartedness to this book. If you loved the Legends of Thezmarr then you’ll love Iron & Embers, but while this is a separate trilogy from Legends of Thezmarr I’d still recommend reading it first!
