I do enjoy these books. You can't read them if you're looking for something super serious and well written though. It has to only be because you are looking for something easy and mindless. I love the story line but the way it's written is a bit....... off. For instance, once the author has a cliche but clever way of describing something, he uses it almost every page. "The bruise colored bags under his eyes." (this line was used almost every time the author wanted to convey someone was tired) "The bruise colored tongue darted out of it's mouth." It's very dramatic. Again, you can't read this if you want something that makes you think. It does stay interesting though. I finished the book quickly and easily. It doesn't take long. The chapters are only a couple pages long. I recommend this for anyone trying to escape for a few days in a fluffy world.
