Oh my gosh. This book was so emotional!! Clocking in at over 700 pages, I still didn't want the story to end. Not because of any loose ends, but because I loved the characters so much and didn’t want to say goodbye. My heart broke for Westin again and again. I wanted to wrap her in a hug and tell her she isn't alone. It felt like she became a part of me in some small way.
I absolutely adore the way Westin met her packmates, and how they overcame their personal issues in order to put her first. Each MMC had their own distinct personalities and backstories, and I loved them all. Emilia Emerson is amazing at creating characters that are so real and well rounded that you leave her books thinking they’re real people you can catch up with later. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case, but being able to return to their story full of love and healing makes it better.
This book was extremely heavy and didn't have a magical easy resolution, but that made me cherish it all the more. I will carry these lessons on life, love, and hope for a long time.

Quotes:
-A few minutes with her and [she] already felt like the most important person in my life.
-The kiss was soft, barely a brush of our lips, but somehow it felt like the entire universe shifted, with Westin at the center.
-The urge to grab her hand back or, better yet, grab her and take her home with me, hit me like lightning.
-The music and noise faded away until it was just him. His scent, his taste, his skin against mine, and the part of my soul that finally felt complete in his arms.
-"...Because the only place I feel whole is when I’m by your side."
-“I don’t want to be alone.” Another whine escaped her lips. “You never have to be again.”
-Being together now, even in the midst of this confusing chaos, felt a bit like coming home.
-“I can’t get you out of my mind. Even when I sleep, my dreams are filled with you, and I never want it to stop. I want to be the one by your side, supporting you, protecting you.”
-“The way I feel about you… I never knew it could be like this,” he murmured. “Like what?” “Like it’s too much for my body to even hold.”
-She gifted me with the most beautiful smile that just confirmed what I felt deep down—I was put on earth to make her happy.
