I’m not going to give spoilers which is.. very hard given my favorite aspect is also their whole past and what fuels the storyline. But I loved learning about their past // hated it in the best possible. I loved piecing together why what happened, happened. We stan strong female leads who take no prisoners and handle their business. But this book should have just been titled lost your memory? Let’s gas light you. It obviously all made sense in the end but I found myself angry at the characters enough to want to quit a few times. I wish their mom was #4 honestly. I think I would have liked it so much more if there was true closure but it felt like after finally learning what we needed to know, we didn’t get any. Yes, there obviously still was some. But I was too mad. I may have liked it more if I had read a physical copy vs listening to the audiobook and the reading time itself wasn’t extended.
