what a lovely story. i originally added this to my tbr because after finishing tshoeh, i was craving another book just like it & heard this was pretty similar. it literally was very similar but i’d say more in terms of writing and the lifestyle of the characters. i felt like i was reading a tjr novel. there was even a character named celia and she mentioned a lady named evelyn at one point in the story. tshoeh is very dear to me so nothing that is similar could ever replace it but this was nice and almost made me feel like i was reading it again or reading a story set in the same universe of evelyn and celia :’)
i would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a similar book to the seven husbands (although it does still stand out as it’s own story)
lol i just keep thinking about how angela asked one question and received a 500 page novel instead of one small paragraph
