Not going to lie, I wanted to punch Wren for the first few chapters. She gave definite Aelin vibes - aka she was a cocky little shit that didn’t seem to learn from mistakes - but oh my goodness was she the recipient of a BEAUTIFULLY written character arc. Many kudos to the author on that one 👏🏻 
The twists and turns in the plot were excited as heck, though not too hard to see coming. No complaints in my end though because I was still riveted. I cannot wait for the next book!
