Okay but what did Stacey put in this book because I could not stop reading it?! I had zero idea what this book was about going into it other than people lived on a frozen ledge trapped by ice monsters, and what I got was so much more. There’s learning to fight for more than just yourself, that being taken care of doesn’t make you weak, that love is a driving force, and that sometimes you have to stare fear and death in the face and scream “F you you’re not going to have me today!” And I am here for all of it. 

Also the way that I immediately started the second book because how dare you end it like that?!
