This was a wild ride. I’ve read a fair amount of romantic suspense but compared to this they were far lighter which I think is better for my mental health haha. That’s not to say that I didn’t enjoy it, it just means that my heart rate was a lot higher 😅

I had a bit of a harder time in the first quarter of the book understanding how these two would fall in love because the hate was so strong but once we got to the base of peoples actions and feelings it made more sense. It just took me a minute to get in board with it. 

It was definitely a fun ride but it was also a lot to process and has a heavier tone to it.
