What an awesome little story about overcoming your fears. Extra bonus points for being told from a child's point of view! I love sweet reminders of what is scary or a big event in a child's life. Not only is that nostalgic to my childhood,as a parent, it prompts empathy toward a child's fears.

Gabby is a nonverbal, wheelchair user,and such a cute character. I especially love how in the background of the story we see Gabby navigating life with her disability.

I believe this story is a must own. It has amazing disability representation as well as a heartwarming story or children overcoming their fear of shots. What's not to love?!
